He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge in 1970.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 28, at Hillier Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Services are set for 9 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
