Janice Mercer Piccolo died November 24, 2017 following a long bout with cancer.  At her request there will not be a service and she will be buried in Oklahoma.  A sad way to end Thanksgiving

Janice Faye Piccolo was born July 14, 1942 to John and Etta Estelle (Posey) Mercer in Ft. Sill, OK. She passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe, TX at the age of 75. Janice was raised in Bryan, TX and graduated from Bryan High School. She lived most of her life in Houston, TX, living the last 20 years in The Woodlands, TX. Janice was a collector, collecting designer bears and dolls, and was an avid landscape gardener.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mercer and Etta Harvey.

Survivors include two sisters, Letha McIntire and her husband Larry of Blanco, TX, and Norma Beirne and her husband Thomas of River Pines, CA; one brother, Michael Mercer of Norman, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

She will be buried next to her mother at Sickles Cemetery, Lookeba, OK
