So very sad to read the news of Gail's death.  I recall her smiles and laughter; a great gal!  It appears she had a very busy and successful life.  May Heaven glow with another precious angel there.  God bless her family and all her friends.  Amen.

Best,

Sorry to read of Gail's passing, what an interesting career she had....may she now rest peacefully.  Vernon, was her dad in involved in the buying and selling of cattle?  I worked for L. J. McGee's Bookkeeping Service once I graduated from SFA and we did his bookkeeping.  I'm thinking I asked him if he was Gail's dad and he told me he was.  She was a beautiful lady.

Gail took a modeling class and taught us all how to attempt runway walk.  We spent many happy times together and she will be one of my fine memories of growing up together.

Gail was a friend to many of us. She always had a warm smile and a big heart. I miss all my old friends. We had good times that I remember fondly.
I have lived in eight states, many of them 2 or more times, but I seldom got back to Bryan.
I'm back in Minnesota now - for the 4th time. Will probably finish out my time here
Love your family and friends.
Andy

Comment from  Susan Hayes, Friend

I wanted to answer the individual asking if Gail's father was in the cattle business - which is yes, he was. His name was William.

I would simply like to say that Billie was a very good friend to me and I will miss her terribly. She had a lot of class, was direct to a fault and told it like she saw it. She taught a lot of people a lot of things but her delivery at times was rough and she definitely could have an edge to her. There was never any question as to how she felt about any given situation.

Billie lived life her way - we shared a love of dogs and both claimed sarcasm as a core personality trait.

She laughed big and worked hard.
