James and I first met in the first grade at St. Joseph School. We were close friends and teammates on the 1956 State Championship football team at St. Joseph. Zubik was usually the gentleman and good guy and the nuns loved him. Chuck Pantalion, Mark Geppert, Joe Munoz and I would often get into trouble with the nuns, but James was always steady and maybe his goodness helped offset some of the mischief we got into. We stayed somewhat in touch through the years and I can say I never once saw or heard James lose his cool. He was a great guy and friend and I am still saddened by his early departure.

Your are one of the Best of Our Class of 1961, Dear Friend. Sorry I was unable to attend Your services. I am sure Monsignor McCaffrey gave a great service, I will never forget My Mother & Dads Service and his wonderful eulogy to them.
