Richard Hernandez Serna

Some of you may or may not remember, I left Bryan after finishing 10th grade. Moved to Los Angeles, CA. where I graduated. When to Glendale Junior College for a semester, and realize that was not for me. So, I join the Army in 62 and retired in 86. Spend 4 tours in Germany, 1 tour in Vietnam. Also, 1 tour at Fort Ord CA, 2 tours at Fort Carson, Colo, and 2 tours at Fort Knox, Ky where I retired. I met my wife Hannelore on my first tour in Germany in 63 and marry her in 65. She has been with me at all the locations I mention except Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, I was hired in 87 at Fort Knox as a training instructor/developer for all the Armor and Cavalry enlisted courses. As of April 9th 2011, I will retired after 23 years. Am looking forward to the reunion. I admit that I only know a few of you and I mean a few, but it is good to come home one more time.
My wife and I have travel a lot, mostly to Germany, since her relatives are all there. Will be going back in June, but this time with our Son and his family.
Enjoy fishing and bowling. Do workout at least 3 time at the gyms on post. I will try to add more after I retired. See all soon!
