Shortly after graduation I married and had two wonderful boys. Between the two boys I have two beautiful granddaughters and three wonderful grandsons.

In 1990 I re-married after 10 years of courtship to George H Shearer. George and I were married 11 years when he became ill with pancreatic cancer which he battled for a year before it took his life.

I have worked for the City of both Bryan and College station, for lawyers, as a administrative assistant for Baskin-Robbins plant and now part-time at Hobby Lobby selling fabric. I love to sew and really enjoy my job.

During my marriage to George we spent time traveling in our RV. We both loved the outdoors and
had a lot of fun on our endeavors. We also took a trip to the Bahamas, Colorado, Arkansas and New Orleans. We enjoyed dancing as well.

In recent years I traveled to New York, the Bahamas several times (my favorite place), Colorado several times, Cancun and went on a cruise.

I have a wonderful family and love spending time with them. One of my sons lives here and the other in Austin.

My favorite past-times are my grandchildren, my two dogs, movies, yard work, sewing, reading and visiting with friends.

I know we're going to lose classmates and friends but it still hurts to see them go. I take comfort in knowing about the Lord and know that, as they pass, they are in good hands and, as it's said, they are in a better place. May the Lord bless her and keep her she's gonna be missed..

My heart is heavy today learning of Cecilia's passing. It is always difficult to learn of another classmate's passing. Cecilia was a wonderful person and leaves behind a rich legacy of family and friends. Rest in peace Cecilia. You will be missed.??
